Empress Gin

Empress 1908 Gin is made by Victoria Distillers and inspired by the Fairmont Empress Hotel. It is known for its complex botanical flavor and vibrant purple color, which is derived from the butterfly pea flower.

Since 2020, Bite Sized Studio has partnered with Empress Gin to develop and photograph delicious, unique cocktails that highlight the gin’s color and flavor profile.

The first cocktail we created together was the Empress Sunset, a twist on the classic gin & tonic flavored with a homemade peach & lavender simple syrup. Some other drinks we have created are:

• The Empress Celebration, a holiday-inspired cocktail flavored with grapefruit juice and cinnamon syrup and topped with prosecco.

• The Cucumber Rose Collins, a spring cocktail with muddled cucumber, rose syrup, honey, and lemon.

• A strawberry-rhubarb flavored gin & tonic, perfect for summer!

All of these cocktails were posted to my Instagram page as part of influencer campaigns, as well as on Empress Gin’s Instagram page and website.
